Responsibility Journey

🧠Response-Ability
“True power begins when you own your past – not to dwell in it, but to build on it. Responsibility is the first step toward freedom.” -Sunny
💬Have a discussion with yourself and take responsibility for your past. Time will make it better⏳. No matter who you are, you can overcome the past if you make a conscious effort to change🔄.
Once you accept yourself for your weaknesses as well as your strengths, coping becomes a whole lot easier🤝, because even when those thoughts pop up, you’ve already accepted these parts of yourself, and worked on either shifting the focus🔍, or continuing it.➡️
This will make you stronger than ever.🛡️
🧩Really think about that word “Responsibility.”
According to Jim Rohn, it breaks down into Response-Ability and it could be viewed as our ability to respond to certain input, information, and challenges.🧠⚙️
Our ability to respond effectively in all situations is what defines our true responsibility, and it’s something we have to do for ourselves.⚖️

🪞Reflection Time!
📝Think of a decision or action you regret, then take note of what this experience taught you.
🌱How did this help you grow and/or what you would do differently next time?
❗Learn from your mistakes, and if something doesn’t make you feel good, you should definitely consider not doing it again.
I’m a big believer in harm reduction💡 and when presented with two evils I more often will go with the better decision, the lesser of the two evils.
Sometimes, avoiding both options altogether and going for the lesser chosen, third option where you create a different, tangential path for yourself, can (sometimes) be an option as well.🛤️
💭“Responsibility is accepting that you are the architect of your own life.” – Stephen Covey
