Grounding 2/9
Get Grounded To Get Going
Connect with the present. Anchor in the here and now.
Sometimes, you need to get grounded to get going.
Hi. I’m Sunny — and today we’re diving into the world of grounding. The practice of connecting with the present moment, calming the mind, and bringing yourself fully back to where your body actually is.
Grounding is what you do when the inside of your head is louder than the room you’re in. When stress builds. When anxiety spikes. When the world feels too fast or too far away. The techniques in this journey are real, doable, and free — most of them require nothing but your senses and your breath.
You’ll learn how grounding helps you stay calm, connected, and fully present even in difficult moments. By the end, you’ll have your own personal toolkit — a small set of moves you can pull from whenever the ground feels like it’s tilting.
- Sensory grounding — the 5-4-3-2-1 technique
- Body awareness — tuning into physical signals
- Breath — Box, 4-7-8, and Deep Belly
- Visualization — roots into the earth
- Nature grounding — and how to build your own toolkit
