Reflection
The thing you’d do
differently.
Take responsibility, not blame. Owning the past is how you stop carrying it. You’re not building a case against yourself — you’re harvesting what it taught you.
Think of a decision or action you regret.
Take note of whatever you’re comfortable sitting with. Then ask:
- What did this experience actually teach me?
- How did it help me grow — even if I didn’t notice at the time?
- What would I do differently now, with what I know?
A note on this: Time will make it better — but only if you make a conscious effort to change. Once you accept the parts of yourself involved, even the uncomfortable parts, coping becomes easier. Acceptance isn’t approval. It’s the soil that lets you grow forward.
