Three Things To Remember
For when someone is trying to impose their will onto you — when the pressure of “what they think” gets loud. Take each one as yours.
Not in my control.
What other people think of you is not your responsibility — and it never was. Trying to manage everyone’s perception is a full-time job nobody is paying you for. Accept the things you can’t control, and the rest will follow.
I have a voice too.
Their opinion is not the only one in the room. Yours counts — and in the things that concern your life, yours counts most. You’re allowed to hear someone out, consider it, and then choose differently. That’s not disrespect. That’s discernment.
I am in control.
It doesn’t matter if someone else thinks they know what’s good for your life. They don’t live inside your body. They don’t carry your story. Trust your own instinct to make change — and you’re already halfway there.
Which one do you need most right now?
Name it. The one you’re going to need to repeat to yourself this week.
