On Identity & Framing
Scroll slowly. Let each one land before moving to the next.
Framing doesn’t require facts. It only requires confidence. When someone frames you with enough certainty, part of you might start to believe it.
Care about what other people think and you will always be their prisoner.
Most frames don’t come from truth. They come from repetition. A few people laugh at a behavior, and suddenly it’s “embarrassing.”
To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.
The guilt spiral turns their frame into your own voice. You start framing yourself — using their words, their judgments, their lens.
Having boundaries doesn’t make you closed-minded. And refusing to be framed doesn’t make you stubborn. It makes you grounded.
You are not a character in someone else’s sitcom. You are the author of your own story.
