Honesty Journey

“Honesty isn’t just about telling the truth – it’s about living it, starting with yourself. Your authenticity is your superpower.” -Sunny
Sometimes, people will try and put their best foot forward even if it means lying directly to your face.
This could be anything, whether they ate the last cookie in the cookie jar a child will look up at you and tell you “no” right to your face even with crumby fingers.
Why is that?
🔍The fundamental human tendency to avoid troublesome times, and get what they want without facing the trials of questioning whether or not it was the right thing to do, is becoming more and more common.
Nowadays, some of the most prominent figures in our society have made either 🔧 great innovation in finding an advancement towards an end goal, or have simply been 🎭expert influencers.
📚I heard a story once, told of a tech guru. They had made a deal to sell an operating system to a corporate client, with a bit of background technological know-how.
He sold this system without actually knowing, himself, how to accomplish the end result. Then, once he had gotten payment💵 for this system, he hired a programmer to write the code for his client.
Now, he is a multi billionaire, and the programmer? Well, nobody even knows the programmer’s name. 📌Goes to show you how much of a difference that connecting with the right people, and believing your truth, can do.
“Honesty is the first chapter in the book of wisdom.” – Thomas Jefferson

🪞Reflection Time!
What’s one area of your life that could benefit from deeper honesty?
When was the last time you told a small lie to avoid discomfort. How did it feel afterward?
Think of someone who has been honest with you, even when it was uncomfortable. How did their honesty help you grow?
🧠As a perpetuation of this, I’ve found that most people will dismiss their own problems and issues if they think it makes people uncomfortable or if they think people will treat them differently for it.
😶Some, if not most, have some form of discomfort at the thought of someone treating them as though they are somehow flawed.
🧬We all make mistakes, and people are becoming more accepting of all types of deviant behavior from the classic norms.
We live in a society where it’s inappropriate to assume anyone is who they appear to be. 🙈
The forces at play in our world make it increasingly difficult to navigate the intricacies of standard behavior💭. Normal operation and processes by humans is becoming more and more deviant from even 10 years ago🧠, and people are allowing their minds to turn them into something else entirely.
I’m here to tell you, that just because your brain identifies you as a specific archetype of person, doesn’t mean you have to believe it.🛡️
Your mind won’t always tell the truth to you, but remember to be honest to it, and always always stand up for yourself in whatever situation or thought that you’re living in.⚖️
If you know in your heart of hearts that it’s wrong, then reframe your thoughts and allow it to pass.
👥As humans we typically will cover things up to blend in, as we all have the overwhelming desire to be more like the people around us.
🔐This is to say that to choose your circle of close friends or peers, is to choose who you will be. If you find someone who tells you things that make you uncomfortable, but it’s the truth, those people are going to be way more likely to actually be on your side, rather than those who simply agree to blend in.
The truth can sound accusatory if it’s right. The attitude of self can play a large role in figuring out where we are going, so if you don’t like something, don’t believe it. We will always find evidence of what we perceive, in our environments.
There’s a study that has been done on fleas🐜, in which they are put in a jar with a lid on it🫙.
Over time the fleas learn that they can only jump to the height of the lid. Generations later, the fleas learn that this lid is constant, and the fleas evolve to only leap to the height of the lid.📌
When the lid is then removed, the fleas’ limitations remain, and they evolve to know that they can only ever jump to the height of the lid.
💡Do you ever feel like you were meant for more?
📈Like the limitations placed on you by society were not meant for you?
🧭That you’re meant for greater things?
As a human being, feats of human accomplishment state that if one person can do it, so can you.
You can change your circumstances by accepting who you are, progressing towards who you want to be, and taking note of your strengths and weaknesses.
Whether physical or mental, you can always shift towards a change of becoming the best version of yourself, and taking action towards these feelings of inadequacy.
Being honest about these things with ourselves and speaking things into existence is an incredible way to navigate change.

🔊What do you want to be? Say it out loud. Right now.💬
Put that energy out into the universe🌌, and you’ll find that your desires will be received (perhaps challenged) and you can overcome anything holding you back.
You will get all the tools that you need in order to accomplish this, in the form of spiritual tests🧪, armorment🛡️, and states of mind.🧠
🚧Sometimes people don’t see that simply ignoring things, can actually be self sabotaging to get what they want, and in turn, they will accept the help they think they require.
🙋If you have something that you’ve been avoiding approaching I would encourage you to reach out and tell someone about it, if you feel it is appropriate to do so (even if it’s Sunny)☀️.
Most of the time, this has to be someone who is able to understand and effectively empathize to see your point of view.
