Wanting Knowing Self 7/10
What do you actually do

No wrong answer. This is data, not judgment. Pick the one closest to what really happens — not what you wish happened.
This is data. Not shame. Most people are here for years before they even notice they’re here. Just naming the pattern is the first move that changes anything.
The Wanting isn’t your enemy. It’s just been the only voice you’ve practiced listening to. The Knowing is in there too — it’s just been waiting for you to make space for it.
It works for a while. Then it breaks — usually right when you most need it. Suppression is just the Wanting in reverse. You’re using force to hold something down. Force costs.
The Knowing isn’t a heavier hammer. It’s a different tool entirely. You don’t suppress the Wanting. You give it a better thing to do.
You’ve already learned what most people never learn — you can sit with an impulse without becoming it. The pause without the fight. That’s the whole skill.
If you picked C honestly, you don’t need this journey to teach you the answer — you need it to remind you that this is the move when the moment gets heavier. The work is to do this on the hard nights, not the easy ones.
The most common pattern. You think you’re giving the Wanting a small win. The Wanting doesn’t take small wins. It takes whatever you hand it — and asks for more.
This isn’t weakness. It’s strategy that doesn’t work. “Just a minute” is the Wanting wearing the Knowing’s clothes. The next page has the real practice.
