KeymasterWelcome to The Grituary! This is a space to share the gritty, real aspects of life—the challenges, setbacks, and resilience it takes to get through. To keep this community constructive and supportive, please follow these guidelines: Note – We have a three strikes, you’re out policy on the forums. Members who violate these rules will receive up to two warnings; a third violation may result in removal from The Sanctuary to preserve the well-being of the community.
1. Respect
Remember, members are sharing parts of themselves that may be raw or difficult. No judgment, shaming, or dismissive comments. Respect each other’s unique journey, even if it’s different from your own.2. Keep It Real, but Constructive
This is a space for honesty about life’s challenges, aim to keep discussions constructive. Focus on resilience, coping, and potential solutions.3. Confidentiality is Key
Respect the privacy of all members. What’s shared in The Grituary should stay here. Avoid sharing any personal details or stories from others outside of this space.4. No Toxic Positivity or Dismissiveness
This space isn’t for forced positivity; it’s okay to acknowledge when things are tough. Avoid dismissive responses like “just be positive” or “look on the bright side.” Support each other by validating feelings and experiences while encouraging growth and resilience.5. Encourage Resilience, Not Perfection
No one is expected to have it all together. The Grituary is a space for embracing imperfections and finding strength in adversity. Encourage members to celebrate small wins and to see value in their grit, even when progress feels slow.6. Avoid Excessive Self-Promotion or Solicitation
Keep discussions focused on community support and shared experiences. If you believe a resource would genuinely help someone, just make sure it aligns with our posting guidelines, each forum has a dedicated purpose. Your post may be asked to move to the appropriate forum and then removed.7. Anonymous Posting Option
If you need to share something particularly difficult, please use our Daily Journal Section, found in “Courses”. You’ll hear from sunny, with instant, actionable feedback on what you’re going through, before you post something here. This helps maintain comfort and openness. Remember that all posts should still follow every one of the community guidelines.8. Embrace the Messiness of Life
The Grituary is a place where we honor the messiness and complexity of life. Be open to sharing your journey, even if it’s not polished. Real experiences are welcomed here. No need to present perfectly. This space is about authenticity and growth, however slow or difficult.9. Report Violations Respectfully
If you see any behavior that doesn’t align with these rules, please report it to Sunny at support@selfhealth.club rather than confronting the person directly. This helps maintain a safe and respectful space.Moderators are here to ensure that The Grituary remains a supportive and respectful community.
