Resilience Journey

Building Resilience Through Reflection
🧱Resilience is shaped through making the right call, no matter what is going on in front of you.⚖️
It comes from having ultimate clarity about what you want out of your life.
If you are someone who passively floats through the streams that are presented to us in our lives, I would encourage you to read on to build real resilience.
Life is filled with ups and downs, but resilience is the muscle we build to carry us through.
Today, through exercises🧘, you’ll learn to embrace challenges🕊️, learn from setbacks🧱, and finding the strength to keep moving forward🌱.
Each day, you’ll explore what it means to rise, to face fear, and to turn adversity into growth.
This path encourages you to view obstacles as stepping stones rather than roadblocks.🚧
“Do not judge me by my successes, judge me by how many times I fell down and got back up again.” – Nelson Mandela
Throughout this journey, you’ll celebrate small victories🎉, learn to reframe negative thoughts🔄, and build an unshakeable core of inner strength🧠.
In order to establish yourself into an resilient state of being, you must learn how to live with who you were. Sometimes there are things that invite themselves into your mind.🪞
There are certain events or pings from your past that can cause us to judge ourselves, as though we have no choice but to be what we’ve always been. ⚡
Some of us can outgrow these things, but for most of us, it’s always there. Something lingering beneath the surface, watching, waiting for an opportunity to strike.
Sometimes it’s an outside influence that presses our buttons, and sometimes we simply do it to ourselves.
🎭Isn’t that the human condition?
More than you might realize right now.
Whilst reading this, it’s fair to assume that you have a voice inside your head that allows you to make the unconsciously interpreted elements of this book, conscious.🧩
This connects your experiences, your viewpoints and opinions, as well as your ability to choose what elements of what you’re reading to absorb, and what parts to ignore🔍.
This allows you to attach your own experience to what you’re reading🧠.
What happens when your automatic brain begins to lead you off in a different direction? 🎯
Comparable to a dog chasing its own tail🐾, humans can also find themselves going on trains of thought that lead them to places outside of our own wants and desires.
For example, can you remember a time when you wanted to go outside and exercise, and you found yourself making up excuses?
Does it look like rain out☁️? Most of us can relate to this feeling.

✨Reflection time!
📝Name a couple wins you’ve had in the last week, no matter how small? Write them down and take a moment to celebrate yourself for it.
What is one thing you previously thought of as a failure that you now view as a valuable lesson?
🎈If you could let go of one thing from your past right now, what would it be, and why?
📝Doing things repeatedly (also known as discipline) becomes especially uncertain when the pathways are not well developed, in the cosmic matter of our brains, sometimes it’s difficult to overcome the initial stages of beginning an activity.
🛤️Once you’ve forced yourself to take action on it multiple times it makes the path easier and easier to go down.
🎈Almost in the same way, it’s harder to stop going down certain paths because it’s the way you’ve always gone. Why change?
What is it inside of us that holds us back from doing the things that we know are good for us?
Negative thoughts and emotions are highly prevalent in our world today, and is usually based on one’s own impression of their stance in the world🌍.
There are probably times that you have thought some of the following things while scrolling: “I wish I had that body.” or “I wish I was as cool as that person.” or “If I had more time I would travel to that place.”
These are a few common ones we think about, and oftentimes, we talk ourselves out of living the life we truly want.
🧊Have you ever talked about something you really wanted to do with someone in your inner circle, and they talked you out of even trying?
In most cases, the ones closest to us can be the ones that hold us back the most.
Remember, not everyone will always align perfectly with your point of view.
In fact, sometimes people will intervene, and challenge the belief you have in yourself.
Some people, even still, will see you as the version of you that they have the most control over.

Reflection Time!
What’s one thought you had today that made you feel like less of yourself, and what can you do to reframe that thought with kind words?
List one thing that you do when you feel unsettled to make yourself feel better?
How does comparing yourself on social media make you feel?
What’s an assumption you’ve always had about yourself that might not be true?
Can you get your confidence back and maintain balance?
Will you stand up for your life by changing your thoughts and the way you speak to yourself in your mind?
The answer to both of those questions, is obviously up to you.
You will sometimes find yourself going through the things that you may not question typically. You will find qualities in yourself that you may not have been aware of before.
If you have ever experienced a questioning of something you have thought before🧠, or opposed a value that you have held close, know that there will always be an opposing view to everything we hope to achieve.
Don’t allow that to hold you back. You will do great things, if you are able to hold yourself up against the deception of your mind
Reframing Technique: Whenever you encounter a challenge, pause and ask yourself, “What is this trying to teach me?” This mindset shift is foundational to resilience because it helps you view challenges as growth opportunities rather than setbacks.
Practice deep breathing in times of stress. Inhaling through your nose slowly for four counts ➕, holding for four⏸️, and exhaling for four➖. This simple exercise helps you regain control over your emotions in tough times.
📓Every day, try and fill out the weekly journal challenge prompts, and include a win, even if it seems small. This helps you acknowledge progress, which strengthens your resilience by showing you that you’re capable of overcoming challenges, one step at a time.
Whether you’re tackling daily stresses or major events, this path reminds you that you’re capable of weathering any storm.💎
Step into your power and let each experience shape a stronger, wiser you.🔥
Build a foundation of resilience by acknowledging your strengths.🧱🔊
Begin to break through self-doubt.💎
